  • That depends grlteay on what type of fish you have. 75 is a good middle ground if you ahve a lot of different species. Some fish do better in slightly warmer or cooler water, so be sure to research your species. I would suggest between 75-78 usually works the best in freshwater tanks. Be sure to keep a heater in there to avoid sudden temerature changes and monitor your temperature daily. A sudden change in temperatuure, even 4-5 degrees, can be very stressful on your fish and could kill them.
